Russian Jet Swipes Right on US Drone: A Tinder Match Made in the Skies?

Ladies and gentlemen gather 'round because I've got a story that's going to knock your socks off! Now, I don't know if you've heard about this recent "incident" between the US and Russia – and no, I'm not talking about a high-stakes game of Battleship. Apparently, a Russian fighter jet and a US surveillance drone had a little "accidental" run-in above the Black Sea. You know, the kind of run-in that leaves a drone with a damaged propeller and a one-way ticket back to Uncle Sam.

Now, I'm no expert on international relations, but it sounds to me like these two were playing a game of "I Spy" – or should I say, "I Spy With My Little Drone"? The US claims their drone was just minding its own business, snapping some scenic photos of the Black Sea, when BAM! A wild Russian fighter jet appears and decides to give the drone a little love tap.

Of course, Russia denies this ever happened. They're sticking to the story that their jet was just out for a casual joyride and didn't even see the drone. But we all know the truth, right? It's like when you accidentally bump into your ex at a party, and you're like, "Oh, I didn't even know you were here!" But deep down, you know you checked their Instagram story and planned your entrance accordingly.

I mean, you have to admit, it's a little bit funny. In a world where we have self-driving cars and can order groceries with our voices, we still can't keep two flying machines from playing a high-stakes game of chicken. I'm just glad it was a drone and not a passenger plane; otherwise, we'd be hearing about the world's most extreme in-flight turbulence story.

So, next time you're out flying your own drone, remember to keep an eye out for any sneaky fighter jets trying to play bumper cars in the sky. Because, as we all know, when it comes to US and Russian relations, the sky's the limit – or maybe not so much in this case!

That's all for now, folks. Stay tuned for more tech-fueled humor coming your way! And remember, if you're ever feeling down, just think about that poor, confused drone trying to make sense of its unexpected collision.

3 dead-simple methods to become a better listener

How to become a better listener.

3 dead-simple methods:

1/ Use T.E.D.

The prospect says something.

You don't fully understand.

You think you need to talk. You don't.

Instead, use T.E.D:

T = Tell me more...

E = Explain that to me...

D = Describe that in more detail...

Use a TED statement to keep them talking.

2/ Mute your microphone

You're on Zoom.

You say something.

You cut off the prospect.

Instead:

• Hit the mute button.

• Let the prospect talk.

3/ Summarize what they just said

You shouldn't listen to respond.

You should listen to understand.

Here's a forcing function you can use:

• Try to summarize what they said in 1 sentence.

• Repeat it back to them.

Why?

1. They'll feel understood

2. They'll tell you more

TL;DR -

3 ways to improve your listening skills:

1. Mute more often

2. Use my friend TED

3. Summarize what was said in 1 sentence

Now, go put these into practice, papi

Nice edition. Your NL structure reminds of the likes of the Hustle, or MB or Milk Road.
