How to leverage LinkedIn in 2021 & Beyond, Wrong Answers Only 🚀

You’re active on LinkedIn, aren’t you? Lots are, it’s the new résumé. But with getting so many messages every day, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle and start doing things that are questionable.

You may not even realize it. Many newbies and seasoned veterans have the same problems when it comes to growing a profile on LinkedIn. Below I’ve compiled a list of do's that you should be aware of when using Linkedin. Wrong answers only, of course 😉

25 Days of Linkedin Christmas Memes | by Jim Gray | Medium

1. Send a LinkedIn connection request with a pitch. Totally, we want to buy now! 🤑

2. Send a connection request, then have an automated bot message me. How did you reach out to us with a 3-page message so quickly! 🤖

3. Have a bot that messages your connections a white paper every 3 days. I can't wait to read those 10 pages seeing as though we don't even read your bot messages! 📃

4. Publicly shame a rep for a cold email. We forgot that your writing was so perfect! 🙈

5. Grow your audience by posting your Gartner quadrant every 3 days. You are going to grow a massive following with this one! 📈

6. Ask strangers for recommendations. They can tell all of your skills just by looking at your profile photo 🖼️

7. Get political. Everyone was hoping you'd post your Facebook content on LinkedIn. 🏛️
