Overcoming the FEAR of publishing content online

In Today’s edition:

  • Overcoming the FEAR of creating content online

  • Your Weekly LInkedIn Content Template

  • A super secret product launch (that only you know about so far)

Here's the thing:If you post crap, no one will remember it. If you post something great, it will be remembered. So why worry about the crap? No one will remember. Most of us worry that what we post will be nothing of quality. But that's ok.

LESSON:

Give yourself permission to create junk

1. Quantity over Quality

It takes quantity in order to get to quality. That's why we believe you need to put the posts out in order to work your way towards quality.

2. Think of every post as an experiment (!)

Whenever you post something online, think of it as an experiment to understand what people want to hear from you.If you look at the best content creators on LinkedIn, most of them experiment with different topics for months (maybe even years). The faster you can get the content flywheel going, the faster you'll learn what your audience wants. Some posts will be crap.

Some may be masterpieces.Either way, you're creating a feedback loop and learning.

3. Make Noise, Listen for Signal(s)

Content that does well: Keep posting about the same topic.Content that don't do well: Pick another topic.Remember, whenever you click post, it's just an experiment to see how the market (LinkedIn) will react. The more your write, the better you'll understand what content works with your audience.

Introducing: The LinkedIn Insiders Database

🎉

I created a database you can use for everything LinkedIn.

And I spent 7 months putting this together.

It includes everything:

  • Content Ideas

  • Opening Hooks

  • A list of creators to follow

  • Expert Positioning Statements

  • Engagement Boosting Questions

  • Idea to get people to know, like, and trust you

  • All the LinkedIn content templates I've shared in one place

And most importantly...this database is updated every single week.
