Stop thinking like a marketer
There's an old story about a legendary fisherman.
This guy dominated every fishing competition in his town.
His name was constantly at the top of the leaderboard. He outfished everyone with a beat-up boat and old tackle while his competitors had the latest gear and fancy equipment.
At the local bar, everyone asked the same question:
“HOW does this guy catch SO MANY FISH with such crappy equipment?!”
One day, a friend finally asked him directly.
"What's your secret? How do you always catch the most fish?"
The fisherman said: "I can't make my brain work like the average fisherman. While you guys obsess over your fishing equipment, upgrading your rods, buying fancy lures, playing with your sonar fish finders...I'm out there studying the fish.
I study their feeding habits:
→ When they feed.
→ How they behave in different waters.
→ Their relationship with weather conditions.
You guys study everything about fishing except the one thing that counts: the fish.
That's why I beat you every single time."
And so, here's my point:
Most people on LinkedIn are obsessing over content formats, posting schedules, and engagement tactics. They're studying everything except the one thing that matters: the buyer.
You have to stop thinking like a marketer and start thinking like your customer.
In Brand30 (starting October 13th), we don't just teach you how to post. We teach you how to build a system that attracts buyers because you actually understand what they want and how they make decisions.
If you're serious about turning LinkedIn into a revenue machine instead of a vanity metrics game, this is for you.
